The games industry has seen a slower adoption of Git than the rest of the software development world. I can show the benefits of Git over SVN and Perforce and help with your Git setup. I like to use either GitLab or GitHub. A non-exhaustive list of what this service can include.

  • Migration: Moving an existing code base from, for instance, SVN to Git
  • First-time setup: Setting up a new code repository from scratch
  • Best practices: Go over and implement the best practices that best suit your team’s workflow
  • Training: Hands-on workshops on how to best use Git, both for technical and non-technical profiles
