Summary

I’ve worked as a software developer for closing in on a decade soon. Sharing my knowledge with those around me has always been a fulfilling part of my job. I have many topics I to give hands-on workshops or lecture-style sessions on.

For instance:

• Internal web tool development: I’ve spent most of my career making web-based tools for technical and non-technical people. I can walk you through my process, share some examples of great tools every developer should have and how to use web tools to empower your studio.

• Git: This has its own section on the main page but I can talk about all things related to Git

• DevOps: We can dive into any of the different aspects of DevOps. Ranging from a high-level overview of the methodology to specific benefits to your Studio.

• Diversity, Inclusion and Equity: I can talk about my lived experience with ADHD and as a Pansexual Cis man. I am no expert in this field but I can give you a primer and point you in the direction of those experts.

• Ally-ship 101: As someone who exists at the intersection of privilege and a marginalized identity I can give my unique perspective on embracing the duality and discomfort that comes with self-eductation. I can give you my approach to being a better ally.

• Burnout: Burnout is not the taboo it once was. It is, however, still rare for people talk about their own experiences with the subject. I have a workshop prepared where I go into the science behind the subject, how it relates to our worklife and the story of the burnout that changed the trajectory of my (professional) life.
